for ABC Fitness
Replacing obsolete gym management software with a customized platform to retain the client’s membership base, generate more income, decrease manual errors, and speed up execution.
About the Customer
Founded in 1981, ABC Fitness is the industry’s leading fitness club management software provider. The company specializes in software for gyms that reduces delinquencies, improves collections, and creates an overall better member experience.
ABC Fitness’s original gym membership management software was developed in 2000 with now-outdated technologies and can no longer support increased business volume. Internal research showed that the company needed to replace the original software as soon as possible in order to avoid significant losses in the near future. To get in front of this, ABC Fitness approached Exadel with the goal of creating a modern, convenient, scalable, and easily-maintained system.
The gym and fitness club management software Exadel developed is an innovative, highly-scalable, cloud-based platform with robust event-driven architecture and comprehensive APIs. It enables ABC Fitness to sell licenses and subscriptions to the back end, front end, or just the billing portion of the back end. The company can also offer business-to-business customers full access to the front end and back end, depending on their needs. If a customer wants to use only the back end or billing functionality, they can simply connect through their existing mobile app. Exadel is currently developing a mobile app to add to ABC Fitness’s offerings which will make it significantly easier for their customers to create their own mobile apps. Exadel is also engaged in developing custom middleware for ABC Fitness’s largest customer in order to adapt to their existing infrastructure.
The new gym management software solution has helped streamline the process of selling gym memberships for ABC Fitness’s customers. It decreases manual errors and speeds up execution time. With Exadel’s assistance, the client has retained their customers’ membership base and expects to add 90 additional fitness clubs.
